Introduction: Every year, we celebrate January 26 as our Republic Day in India. It was on this day, in the year 1950, after Indian Independence, our constitution came into force. India was declared the Sovereign Democratic Republic. Even though the full and independent constitution of India was drafted and submitted soon after Indian Independence, it was only on January 26, 1950, the government of India adopted the model under the ‘PurnaSwaraj” movement. In rejoicing the day, January 26 th  is observed as Indian Republic Day. Celebration: Republic day in India is celebrated all over the country with elation and with great fervour. However, most of all the happiest celebration shows happen at New Delhi, the capital of India. A parade is held, wherein people from all walks of life assemble at the Rajpath to the Red Fort, where the President of India takes the Salute and hoists the Tricolor Flag.
